Getting Started

1. Create Your Account

Sign up at GoTrack.bd with your email address and a strong password. After registering, you'll be taken to the shop setup flow.

  • Go to the home page and click Sign Up
  • Enter your email and choose a secure password (minimum 6 characters)
  • Click Create Account — you'll be redirected automatically

2. Set Up Your Shop

After signing in for the first time, you'll be guided to create your shop. This is the business identity that your team and customers will interact with.

  • Enter your Shop Name, address, and Facebook page details
  • Optionally upload a shop logo
  • Your shop is created and your 30-day free trial begins immediately

3. Explore the Dashboard

Once your shop is created, you're taken to the Owner Dashboard — your central command centre. From the left sidebar you can navigate to every module: Products, Orders, Customers, Finance, and more.

Dashboard

The Dashboard gives you a real-time snapshot of your business performance at a glance.

Revenue Overview

Total revenue, cost, and profit broken down by selected period.

Order Summary

Count of Pending, Shipped, Completed, Returned, and Cancelled orders.

Top Products

Your best-selling products ranked by revenue and units sold.

Period Filters

Switch between Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, or a Custom date range.

The dashboard updates in real-time as new orders come in, giving you always-current data without needing to refresh.

Products Management

Adding & Editing Products

Each product stores its name, cost price, selling price, and current stock. Go to Products → Add Product to get started.

  • Set Cost Price (what you pay) and Selling Price (what the customer pays)
  • Enter the initial stock quantity when creating the product
  • Stock is automatically reduced each time an order is placed for that product

Inventory & Stock Alerts

Low Stock Triggered when stock drops to 20 units or below. A visual alert is shown in the product list.
Out of Stock Triggered when stock reaches 0. The product is flagged so you can restock promptly.

Search & Filter

Search products by name and filter by time period. The product list shows inventory value, customer count, and lifetime sales per product.

Orders Management

Creating an Order

Go to Orders → New Order. Select the customer (or create a new one inline), add products, set quantities, and enter the delivery address. Delivery charges and COD charges can be set per order.

Order Statuses

Pending

Order created, not yet shipped

Shipped

Dispatched to courier

Delivered & payment received

Courier Integration

GoTrack.bd integrates directly with two major Bangladeshi courier services. Set up API credentials in Shop Settings to enable one-click order dispatch.

Steadfast

Bulk consignment creation and tracking directly from the order list.

Pathao

Create and manage Pathao deliveries without leaving your dashboard.

Invoice Download

Every order has a printable invoice. Open an order and click Download Invoice to get a PDF-ready invoice for your records or to include in the package.

Customers

Customer Directory

All customers from your orders are stored automatically. You can search by name or phone, and view a detailed profile for each customer showing their order history, total spending, and purchased products.

Customer Analytics

Buying Behavior

Automatically classifies each customer as a Repeat, Occasional, Bulk, Small, Regular, or Offer-Seeker buyer based on their purchase history.

Customer Priority

Classifies customers into tiers — Gold, At-Risk, Inactive, High-Return, Top 20%, Premium, and more — so you know where to focus retention efforts.

Repeat Customer Analysis

Tracks repeat purchase cycles and highlights customers most likely to buy again based on their historical patterns.

Bulk SMS

Send targeted SMS messages to customer segments directly from the platform using the integrated Bulk SMS BD service.

  • Send to all customers or filter by behavior/priority segment
  • Set up SMS credentials in Settings → SMS Integration
  • Mark customers as Paused to exclude them from messages for a set period

Expenses

Recording Expenses

Track every business expense to get an accurate picture of your profitability. Go to Expenses → Add Expense.

  • Enter the Amount, Category, date, and a short description
  • Expense categories are pre-set by your admin or can be customised
  • Filter by day, week, month, year, or a custom date range

Expense Summary

The top of the Expenses page shows your total expenses for Today, This Week, and the selected period — so you can spot unusual spend at a glance.

District-Wise Analysis

An interactive Bangladesh district map highlights problem areas with the highest cancellation rates. The top 10 high-risk districts are listed so you can decide which areas to stop delivering to or charge higher COD fees.

Product-Level Returns

See which specific products are being returned or cancelled most frequently, so you can investigate quality issues or adjust product descriptions accordingly.

Account & Finance

Financial Overview

A consolidated financial snapshot covering total revenue, total cost, gross profit, total expenses, and net profit — all filterable by period or date range.

Monthly Statement

A month-by-month breakdown of all income and expense transactions. Useful for accounting and tax purposes.

Export to Excel available

Credit & Due Management

Track money owed to you and money you owe across three types:

Shop Credit Credits your shop holds
Customer Due Money customers owe you
Supplier Due Money you owe to suppliers

Mark entries as Settled once payment is received or made.

Courier Withdrawal History

Record and track withdrawal requests from courier partners (Steadfast, Pathao). Maintain a full history of amounts, dates, and courier services for reconciliation.

Team Management

Managers

Managers can log in to GoTrack.bd with their own credentials and access only the areas you allow. Go to Managers → Add Manager.

Granular permissions you can toggle:

Staff

Staff members have limited access compared to managers. They can be added under Managers → Staff and assigned the Staff role. Staff accounts are suited for order processors who need minimal access.

Shop Settings

General Settings

Update your shop name, logo, address, and linked Facebook page details at any time from Settings → General.

Courier API Setup

Connect your courier accounts to enable one-click shipment creation. You need separate API credentials for each:

  • Steadfast: Enter your API Key and API Secret from your Steadfast merchant account
  • Pathao: Enter your Client ID and Client Secret from your Pathao business account

SMS Integration

Connect your Bulk SMS BD account by entering your API credentials under Settings → SMS. Once set up, you can send bulk messages to customer segments from the Customers module.

WooCommerce / WordPress Sync

If you have a WordPress/WooCommerce website, you can sync new online orders directly into GoTrack.bd automatically.

  1. 1. Install the GoTrack.bd Sync plugin on your WordPress site
  2. 2. Copy your API Key and Secret from Settings → API
  3. 3. Paste them in the plugin's settings and click Save & Test Connection
  4. 4. New WooCommerce orders will now appear in GoTrack.bd automatically

Webhooks

Set a custom Webhook URL to receive real-time order update notifications in your own system. Use the auth token for request verification. You can regenerate both the webhook token and API credentials from Settings at any time.

Subscriptions are paid via bKash. Go to Subscription in the sidebar and click Renew to initiate a bKash payment. Once confirmed, your subscription is extended by 30 days immediately.

Your subscription end date and days remaining are always visible on the Subscription page.

All new accounts get a 30-day free trial with full access to every feature. No credit card or payment is required to start.

Profile & Security

Editing Your Profile

Update your personal information from Settings → Profile.

  • Full name, phone number, date of birth, gender, and address
  • Changes are saved immediately

Changing Your Password

Go to Settings → Account Settings and enter your current password followed by the new password. The change takes effect immediately and you will remain signed in.

Changing Your Email

For security, email changes require OTP verification.

  1. 1. Request an email change from Account Settings
  2. 2. A one-time code (OTP) is sent to your current or new email address
  3. 3. Enter the OTP to confirm the change
  4. 4. You can cancel a pending email change at any time before confirming
